SummerGATE's merit scholarship program is designed to encourage the attendance of students with especially high capability and achievement. If your youngster scored 90% or better (total battery) on any standardized achievement test, you may deduct $40.00 from each session in which she/he is in full attendance. Scores from the test most recently administered to your child should be submitted along with registration materials. A student who qualified for a Merit Scholarship with his or her most recent CTBS scores last year need not resubmit the same scores.

Students currently in Grades 6 and up may alternately present a report card showing an average of 3.5 or better. Report cards must be submitted annually.

Please note: You must present Merit Scholarship documents at the time of registration. There are no retroactive scholarships.

Grades K - 5: Submit one of the following:

• your CTBS, ERB, SRA or any other standardized test scores showing at least 90% on the total battery.

• your most recent report card showing an average of 3.5 or better;
• your CTBS, ERB, SRA or any other standardized test scores showing at least 90% on the total battery.
