Merit Scholarships
SummerGATE's merit scholarship program is designed to encourage the attendance of students with especially high capability and achievement. If your youngster scored 90% or better (total battery) on her/his most recent standardized achievement test, you may deduct $40.00 from each session in which she/he is in full attendance. Complete scores (inculde all pages, front and back) from the test most recently administered to your child must be submitted along with registration materials. A student who qualified for a Merit Scholarship with his or her most recent standardized achievement test scores last year need not resubmit the same scores.
Students currently in Grades 6 and up may present alternately their most recent report card if it shows an average of 3.5 or better. Report cards must be submitted annually.
Please note: You must present Merit Scholarship documents at the time of registration. There are no retroactive scholarships.
