Merit Scholarships

SummerGATE's merit scholarship program is designed to encourage the attendance of students with especially high capability and achievement. If your youngster scored 90% or better (composite/total battery) on her/his most recent standardized achievement test, you may deduct $40.00 (Session I & II) or $25 (Session III) from each session in which she/he attends 3.5 hours (3 hours for Session III) or more per day. Complete scores (include all pages, front and back) from the test most recently administered to your child must be submitted along with registration materials. A student who qualified for a Merit Scholarship with recent standardized achievement test scores last year need not resubmit the same scores.

Students currently in Grades 6 and up may present alternately their most recent report card if it shows a GPA of 3.5 or better. Report cards must be submitted annually.

Please note: You must present Merit Scholarship documents at the time of registration. There are no retroactive scholarships.

You may submit supporting test scores via upload to your SummerGATE account, email, or fax. You may also drop them off in person at our business office, 1456 9th Ave.

Grades K - 5: Register for a minimum of 3.5 hours per day (3 hours per day for Session III) and submit the following:
